NIP
Ok, this is the most impotant game. Firstly lets start with NiP. They have been amazing! They had a really close game with fnatic, but overall have been dominating their opponents. Lets look at their recent games, they started their group stages of reletivly well, they didnt look to strong or too weak, they managed to get an easy win 19:17 agaisnt dignitas, this was becuase GeT_RiGhT, and forest managed to step and and clutch some vital rounds, next game was agaisnt Cloud 9, this was a different story, NiP didnt look themselves, they didnt turn up and couldnt hit shots, they ended up losing 16-7, this result was wuite shocking as Nuke, is widely known as NiPs map, a key resaon to this loss was starting on t side, this put NiP in a horrible start and they had no momentum, or belief of winning. The next map they played was against KuBuM, who recently had a great upset against cloud 9, NiP needed to perform in this game so they knew their ability, once again Forest, and GeT_RiGhT managed to step up easing with a 16-3 win. Next game they played was a BO3, against fnatic this will be a true test of there strength, the Veto didnt go in NiPs favour as Cache,Mirage and INferno where chosen.
The first map was cache, NiP managed to win the first halve with a nice 9-6 ht ct side, which isnt too bad or too good, about average. This game ended up being so close, NiP managed to clutch many round which helped the sucess, surprising Forest and GeT_RiGhT didnt do so good they both had -5 k/d, but what so great about NiP is if a player/players arent playing great they can step up to win, in this case Xizt was the player, he top fragged int he game and with the best K/D ratio, Xizt had a 1.40 k/d. The next map would be inferno, this again was a REALLY close game of 16-14, unfortunately NiP lost but was very close, NiP showed us what they are capable of doing, they got 7 round on T side inferno, which put us thinking NiP would close out the series 2-0, but once again Fnatic put up a valient effort and got the second map, the final map was most important. This would be on mirage, and fnatic have been well known for playing relaly good on mirage, and this would be a tough game for NiP. GeT_RiGhT once again stepped us and basically won the game, he clutched 2 2v1s int the game and topfragged out of everyone, but not only did GeT_RiGhT play good, the whole of NiP stepped up at certain times. Maikelele got many great awp shots vs JW, and clutched 2 round, he managed to get 2 kills which enabled NiP to win and force fnatic onto eco. The player in this BO3 id look out for is GeT_RiGhT, he played amazing vs fnatic and clutched many situations!
Jeez, that was 1 big ass paragraph! Onto LDLC now though!
LDLC
LDLC are the #1 team in the world, that’s basically confirmed now after they convincingly beat Fnatic on their best map, Inferno. They lost once this tournament, in a very close match against CLG where they could not stop PTR. Then they easily beat Fnatic, Liquid, and Dignitas, so it looks like they cleaned up their act after their first game. They showed no signs of weakness is any of their games, they did very well every match they played after CLG, and their map loss against Dignitas was 16-14, so it’s not a big deal. Every single one of LDLC’s players have been doing very well, but I would say Happy has been performing the best just from his recent match stats. One thing to note is NiP’s vetoing, as they always seem to give the other team their best maps. This happened at Dreamhack, where LDLC got to play their top 3 maps aganst NiP, and obviously they won, however it was very close. LDLC managed to beat fnatic very easily with 16-7 score, this shows how well they can play, they seem unstoppable atm. Happy, Shox and Smithz ALL are played at a really high standard, they have all been fragging alot, keeping LDLC #1 team.
Yesterday Dignitas v LDLC, LDLC won 2-1 with 2 really strong maos they beat Dignitas 16-10 on Dust 2, where they didnt really look like losing at all, where NiP played Dignitas and nearly lost on Dust 2, but only just won 17-16. In the first map it was Happy, Shox, and Smithz who where the top performers, each with 21-23 kills they had really strong stat calling, and exicuted on dust 2, but it was happy who stoof out with his incredible 1.70 k/d. In the second game unfortunatly LDLC lost, they didnt look composed, or really knowing what they where doing on inferno, but they still gave a really close battle. Last map was a whole different story, it was on cache and they won 16-5, this time it was NBK, and Happy who stood up managing to brush Dignitas away.
Recent Games
NiP have beaten by LDLC relatively eay in past games.
Overall
Although NiP played strong yesterday, i cant really see them taking 2 maps from LDLC, LDLC have looking really strong, and the Number 1 team in the game. I see LDLC taking this game 2-1, just from how good they have been recently and how they’ve beaten NiP many times before, including at Dreamhack a month or two ago. Every single one of LDLC’s players have been playing great, and there is no argument that they are not the current #1 team in the world.
LDLC have just looked to strong for NiP and LDLC i dont see losing this one, but it is still high risk if NiPs playrs get hyped and into the game. But the odds are great for a low bet on LDLC, but the odds may change so be careful.
LDLC - High Risk
My Bet -Low/Medium on LDLC
